How long does it take for wine to be delivered?

Once ordered, your wines will be delivered to your address within 5 days (normally 2-3 days).

What happens to the wines if I am not in when they are delivered?

If you are not at the address you have provided when your wine is delivered a card will be left by the courier and you can call them to arrange a convenient time for delivery.

Can I chose where to have the wines delivered?

When you order the wines you can specify a delivery address. If you change your mind you can call or email and we will change the delivery address. If the new address is in a different part of the country there may be a charge for this.

What do I do if the wine is corked or faulty?

If you are not happy with the wine because of a fault we will either send you a replacement or you can have a full refund. All we ask is that you return the wine to us.

What are natural wines?

The wine making process can be divided into two parts. Viticulture is the name given to the grape growing process, wines from SIP are made from either organically grown grapes or biodynamically grown grapes. In addition to this the wines are made without additives such as Industrial yeasts, added sugar, or animal products, only small amounts of sulphites are used in order to make sure the wine reaches you in the best condition.

What temperature should I serve the wines?

SIP recommend the following serving temperatures:
Champagnes: 5-10 degrees C
White Wines
Medium Bodied: 10-12 degrees C
Full Bodied: 12-12 degrees C
Red Wines
Medium Bodied: 14-17 degrees C
Full Bodied: 15-18 degrees C

Should I decant the wines?

SIP recommend that you decant these wines for about 15-30 minutes if possible. This will allow the wines to soften and give maximum flavour.

How long can I keep the wine for once opened?

In our experience of drinking these wines they can keep for 2-3 days after opening. After this point because of the low levels of sulphites used as a preservative the wines will age quickly and start to go past their best. If you have red wine left after more than a few days you can always use it to cook with.
